“What the hell was that about?” The 73-year-old asked the Colorado Springs crowd. “We have enough problems with South Korea in trade.” He did not understand that the Academy had awarded the prestigious prize to a film from this country.

He prefers old films

Trump admits, however, that he has not seen “Parasite” at all. “Was the movie good? I don’t know, »he said with a shrug during his speech. The socially satirical work is probably not for the US president anyway – he prefers “Gone with the Wind”.

Trump also likes “Boulevard of the Twilight”. And muses that he wants the two Oscar-winning films back at the top. “There were so many good films.”
