The dental hygienist asked the woman where she bought the bear. The patient stated that she spent half of the year in Hong Kong and returned to Switzerland on February 1. The dental hygienists then got excited and sent the patient home. The reason: The practice no longer has a mouth guard. “I am treated like a leper in Switzerland,” says the customer.

When the “Tages-Anzeiger” asked about the practice, however, it sounded different: They had acted in the “sense of the patient’s health.” Accordingly, the patient suffered from breathing problems. “Your general health was not ideal for us to cope with one-hour dental hygiene with the mouth open in a horizontal position.” A lack of a face mask is denied.

In fact, breathing problems and coughing are among the symptoms that the coronavirus causes. The virus triggers pneumonia. The sufferers are reported to complain of coughing, fever and difficulty breathing.

Back to the Zurich patient: She still doesn’t understand the panic. “Because of the cold weather and my asthma, I was a little breathless and maybe coughed once.”
