How was the transfer from the USA to Switzerland possible for the woman from Aargau in the current situation? “There were still three regular Swiss flights a week – because I didn’t know how long they would be available, I took the chance,” says Manuela. Double happiness: she had already booked a return flight for April, which she could postpone at no extra charge.

After “after five weeks alone in my apartment without going out”, she felt very lonely in New York. “The empty streets felt ghostly day and night,” says Frey.
The US city was hit particularly hard by the Covid 19 pandemic. Around 140,000 cases have been confirmed, and over 10,000 deaths have been registered so far. She was not afraid for her health. «But nobody can say what will happen in the USA. The uncertain situation felt very uncomfortable. »
«All jobs were canceled»
Now Manuela Frey spends time with her family in Aargau and is studying for her apprenticeship as a real estate agent – the model is currently unable to work. «All jobs have been canceled. But now I can at least be with my family and go for a walk, ”says Manuela.
Like she did with Janosch this week. The two are still covered about a possible relationship. You would just get on well.
