20 minutes – football coach beats wardrobe thief ready for hospital

A football coach put a suspected cloakroom thief in Glarus, followed him and then massively beat him up. The trainer had been on the lookout for theft in the past few weeks in the Buchholz gymnasium in Glarus on Thursday evening, as the Glarus cantonal police confirmed a report from the Glarus edition of “Südostschweiz”. Accordingly, a younger man actually appeared and started to work on the players’ things.

19-year-old not yet interrogated

The trainer provided the suspected thief, who immediately fled and ran away. The coach caught up with the 19-year-old. And what happened after that is the subject of a police investigation.

The newspaper cites testimony that the trainer violently beat the thief. The young man was brought to Glarus Cantonal Hospital with moderate injuries. In the night of Friday, he was transferred to the Zurich University Hospital and therefore could not be heard on the matter.
