British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his partner Carrie Symonds got engaged. Together they expect youngsters. The couple announced on Saturday.
“The Prime Minister and Ms. Symonds are delighted to announce their engagement and that they are expecting a baby in early summer,” several newspapers quoted a spokesman for the couple.
Johnson already has four children
55-year-old Johnson has been divorced twice and has resided at Downing Street in London with the 31-year-old former Conservative Media Advisor since taking office in July.
Johnson separated from Marina Wheeler in 2018. With her he has four children. Several affairs were said to have occurred during his marriage.
The last time there was any offspring at Downing Street was in 2000 when Tony Blair and his wife Cherie had a baby.
