The city of Kriens announced on Sunday that the newly planted trees were in poor condition. Investigations had shown that they were “drowned” because the water that was stowed underground could not drain away.
The total contractor has now installed an additional shaft within the cobblestone area to avoid backwater and planted new trees. It is a matter of guarantee, the city of Kriens incurs no costs.
