With her spirited and extremely direct manner, Elena skilfully minimizes the yawning factor of the show and offers the TV audience what it loves so much: riot and drama.
What distinguishes her from the other blasphemy is that she not only talks about her camp colleagues behind her back, but also tells them what she thinks. We are entertained twice and find Elena quite okay despite her freaking out – because, unlike others on the show, she seems to be at least honest and direct.
“I’m a star – get me out of here!” Also lives from unexpected revelations. Elena mastered this drama discipline without any problems: It was she who dropped the bomb that the separation of Claudia Norberg (49) and her ex-husband Michael Wendler (47) could have been different than the public thinks.
Sure, Elena is not the most talented star collector – but in contrast to her endurance exam star Danni Büchner (41), she has at least a bite. While the latter is mostly half-hearted or even breaks off the exams, Elena remains focused.
Sometimes Elena even manages to hold back the cursed words and take the matter with humor: “It tastes really good,” she said during a meal test on Thursday about a camel anus. Elena also took a pool full of fish waste calmly – and lolled out of the stinking pamp faster than she fell into it.
On Friday the audience decided for the last time who has to take the exam. Elena and Danni were elected again. After days of low tide, the involuntary duo surprised with nine out of eleven stars. Until the end of the show, the campers can now decide for themselves who has to compete for the exam.
The Swiss with Spanish roots seems to be very well received by the audience. A Survey by the German online magazine Promiflash.de revealed: Almost half of all respondents see Elena at the top. Competitor Claudia is in second place with twelve percent of the votes.
While the 20-minute readers don’t quite agree on the favorite, most of the readers in our poll last week wanted to see Elena sitting on the throne of the jungle. Around a quarter of the votes were cast for them, in second place boxer Sven Ottke (52) made it with 18 percent.
Elena has participated in two reality shows – and won both. In 2017 she took part in “Love Island”, won 25,000 euros and became known for participating in the dating show. Last year, partner Mike Heiter (27) took part in the “Summer House of Stars” and won € 50,000.
In the jungle, the young mother is now waving 100,000 euros as a victory bonus. From a financial perspective, participation was also worthwhile if it did not make it to the throne: according to “Image”-Information Elena receives a fee of 60,000 euros.
