The Biel Imam Abu Ramadan, who has already attracted negative attention on several occasions, should rush further. The “Sonntagszeitung” recordings are available that indicate this. Ramadan also dragged Christmas into the dirt and described the stoning of adulterers as an appropriate punishment.
Two criminal proceedings are already underway against the 66-year-old preacher, who describes himself as a normal mosque visitor without a function, one for suspected social welfare fraud and another for suspected racial discrimination. He is said to have wished in a prayer that Allah should destroy Jews and Christians.
Asylum status gone
In 1998 Abu Ramadan came to Switzerland as an asylum seeker. She had offered protection from persecution to the Libyan and supported him with more than 800,000 francs in social assistance and AHV supplementary benefits.
His asylum status was revoked in 2017 because he had traveled to Libya illegally several times. However, the judgment did not concern his settlement permit – he has the residence status C and receives supplementary benefits.
