Tukumniece Līga lives near the place of the event and describes the park as a place that protects it from strangers: “There is such a bushy … If he watches someone … If someone has such an idea to do something for someone, then he can do it in a place like that. It is not an open place. ”
Locals had previously noticed a picture of a 23-year-old woman on posters at bus stops and shop windows. Her family and beloved boy placed them in the city on Wednesday night because Victoria had disappeared without a trace.
A call about Victoria’s location was received on Thursday around 11 p.m. The police are currently trying to find out why the young woman was in the park and why the abuser took her life.
The residents of Tukums would like to know if the killer is still on his feet. “I’m afraid to go in the evening now and with the kids, we’re afraid people are worried,” says Līga. A salesman at a nearby grocery store tells the show that he is shocked by what happened, because usually everything here is calm.
Victoria worked in a pharmacy and no one suspected that anyone wanted to harm the young woman. But there are unofficial rumors that on the fateful day she was with a man living a few kilometers from her.
Preliminary information suggests that the girl was stabbed with a cold gun, but the circumstances of the murder are unclear. Law enforcement officers have not yet revealed whether the suspects are in criminal proceedings and whether any of them are already isolated from the public.
