Daegu city police said they received an application in March alleging that the former judge had attacked a teenager. The athlete was later arrested.
Yonhap reports that further proceedings will be handed over to prosecutors next week.
“An arrest warrant has been issued, but we cannot disclose the details of the case as an investigation is underway,” the Daegu city police said in a report.
