The US Food and Drug Administration also granted the vaccine emergency approval on Friday. The US Food and Drug Administration also granted the vaccine emergency approval on Friday. An application has been made to the European Medicines Agency (Ema) for approval of the corona vaccine in the EU, a decision is still pending.
At the beginning of December, the British regulatory authority for pharmaceuticals had granted the Biontech / Pfizer preparation emergency approval. This made Great Britain the first state in the world to approve the vaccine. In the meantime, Canada, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, among others, have given approvals for the vaccine.
In Mexico, with almost 130 million inhabitants, the tenth most populous country in the world, over 113,000 deaths have been registered as a result of Covid 19 disease – the fourth highest number worldwide. In reality, however, there are at least 50,000 more. About as many deaths that do not appear in the official statistics can be traced back to the disease caused by the corona virus, the government of the North American country had already announced at the end of October.
