Nubia RedMagic 8S Pro: A Game Cannon with Overclocked Processor and Massive RAM

At the beginning of February, the Nubia RedMagic 8 Pro gaming phone was sent to the Czech market, after it debuted in China at the end of December. Its manufacturer is already revealing details about the improved version that will bear the label RedMagic 8S Pro. She will be a real game cannon – it will offer an overclocked variant of the flagship processor and absolutely massive RAM.

Nubia has already released a number of key details via its official account on the Chinese social media platform Weibo. So we can say with certainty that the upcoming gaming smartphone, which will target the most demanding audience, will receive a chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 with 3.36GHz frequency. This is exactly what we find in flagship devices from Samsung, where it is available with the subtitle “For Galaxy”, and it was expected to be offered elsewhere as Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2. But Nubia uses the designation “Leading Version” in its materials.

As far as performance is concerned, the manufacturer confirmed that the RedMagic 8S Pro will get absolutely insane operating memory with a capacity of 24 GB. Personally, I’m curious to see who will find a use for her, and maybe even more interested in how they’ll use her.

The company has already published images that capture the phone in its full beauty. We can notice that it more or less retained the design of the standard RedMagic 8 Pro, but with minor modifications. So again, we will see a relatively square design, three rear cameras, a hidden selfie camera and an RGB fan. But the light version will look more minimalistic.

The RedMagic 8S Pro will presented on July 5 at 9:00 a.m. our time. Unfortunately, that is the date of the Chinese premiere, when and if it will even arrive on the global market.
