The Ministry of Health has communicated this Wednesday 196 new infections from covid-19, detected throughout yesterday, when 108 were transferred. Since the start of the pandemic, 247,086 people have been affected by the virus in Spain.

Only these two communities have already registered more than half of the cases notified today. However, the report of this Wednesday alerts that Castilla La Mancha, for the second consecutive day, has not been able to “upload” its updated data “due to technical problems”, so the actual figure could exceed these 196.

In addition, the Ministry reports a dozen deaths that occurred during the last seven days and adds two to the death count, which already reaches 28,327.
