Live: Crisis team on the current corona situation in Lower Saxony | NDR.de – news

Status: June 21, 2021 3:44 p.m.

The nationwide incidence remains at a low level, around half of the people in Lower Saxony have been vaccinated against the coronavirus at least once. The crisis team provides live information.

Most recently, the press conference was mainly about the vaccination campaign and easing in the private, catering and retail sectors. The reason for this is the low number of infections. Meanwhile, the Robert Koch Institute is observing the so-called delta variant of the coronavirus as a “worrying variant”, and there have already been cases in Lower Saxony.

This Tuesday, the crisis management team led by Heiger Scholz and Claudia Schröder – NDR.de shows the press conference live from 1 p.m. at this point.
