The girl was found with unexplained marks on her body. The autopsy revealed that she died of asphyxiation. The numbers “1” and “0” were found on the baby’s corpse, according to French television BFMTV.
The girl was found outside an apartment building in the 19th arrondissement of the French capital after being denounced by her mother for not returning home from school.
A police source said they were not written or cut into the skin, but were “placed” on it with some “device”.
