Kate Middleton paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II at her funeral today, wearing Her Majesty’s pearl necklace.
The 40-year-old Princess of Wales arrived at Westminster Abbey wearing a sheer black ensemble paired with a pearl and diamond necklace.
Kate arrived at the ceremony with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, The Sun reports.
The Princess of Wales will also wear the stunning necklace at Prince Philip’s funeral in 2021.
Queen Elizabeth II often wore the priceless jewel in the 1980s, then lent it to Princess Diana for a state reception in the Netherlands in 1982.
To complete her mourning outfit today, Kate chose an elegant black hat with a mesh element.
