Kamila Mortimer, the former commercial director of the JCDecaux advertising firm and entrepreneur, died tragically at the age of 56. She was fatally injured in a traffic accident while on vacation on the Indonesian island of Bali. Her close friends, such as model Simona Krainová or former first lady Dagmar Havlová, also expressed regret over her death on social networks.
The well-known businesswoman has been close to the biggest names in Czech show business for many years. Information about her tragic death on Sunday was reported by websites Super a lightning.
According to the information of her acquaintances, she died in a motorcycle accident during a vacation on the Indonesian island of Bali. She succumbed to serious injuries in one of the local hospitals.
“We haven’t been in close contact lately, but we spent an incredible amount of time together and I had the honor of being one of the few to get to know the core of her personality,” Slovak fashion designer Vanda Janda remembered Kamila Mortimer. She was the first to hear the news of her death, because her business card was in the deceased Czech’s purse. “I know you never liked peace, but I believe you left with peace in your soul, I really wish that” she concluded her message.
The successful businesswoman was close to many celebrities who expressed their grief over her death on social networks. “I don’t know what to say about that, take care, Kamilka, I’ll miss you,” actress Petra Nesvačilová wrote. The sad news hit the fashion world in particular. “It got dark too early, Kami. I won’t remember. we will not forget” wrote fashion designer Beata Rajská briefly with a personal photo.

Mortimer worked in the position of commercial director of the advertising company JCDecaux, which provided outdoor advertising, for eight years until 2020. Last year, together with stylist Filip Vaňek, she founded the company For Vital Pro, which produces food supplements.
