Eduards Smiļģis is not only the founder of the Daile Theater, an innovative director, an actor of strength and ecstasy, but also a genius torn by contradictions, who, like a chameleon, changes his nature depending on the woman he loves at that time or the power that prevails at that time. The drama in two parts tries to find out what really lies behind Smilg’s thousand masks, and what price a genius has to pay for the ability to play theater, hurt and love beyond the means of the average person.
