At the end of September, the car industry exhibition “Auto 2021” will take place in Kipsala

Currently, active work is underway to complete the exhibition “Auto 2021”. And despite the challenges due to the shortage of electric semiconductors in the automotive industry, which respectively affects the car production and delivery processes in the world and also in Latvia, several car dealers have taken care of the latest models for the premiere in Ķīpsala.

Several bright car premieres

The compact off-road vehicle from Jeep will be premiered at Auto 2021 – the modernized Compass model, which is the first Jeep model introduced in Europe under the auspices of the newly established Stellantis Group. Another important novelty of Jeep will be on display at the exhibition – its first electrified model “Wrangler 4xe”. Thus, the most robust of all Jeep will have a rechargeable hybrid version with the ability to drive 100% in electric mode.

The newly modernized SEAT models – the small SUV “Arona” and the hatchback “Ibiza” – will go to Auto 2021, which have just arrived fresh in Latvia. These cars have not only a refreshed exterior design and equipment, but also a significantly modernized interior. The lobby of the “Autobrava” exhibition for sports car lovers will be the 510-horsepower Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio off-road in an impressive golden tone.

The most popular cars

Opel will present its hottest and most sought-after new Mokka on the European market at Auto 2021. This compact SUV was especially popular in the first generation, but in the second generation it has also acquired a stylish design, which has made it very popular throughout Europe. This is one of the most popular segments of the car market in Latvia, therefore good results for the new Opel Mokka are expected here as well. In turn, Opel will be able to see the Crossland and Grandland models in size, but the most capacious of all Opel will be the classic Zafira Life minivan.

The premium segment will be widely represented at the exhibition in Ķīpsala under the Audi brand – the hottest news will be the sporty, 100% electric Audi e-tron GT. In the most powerful version, such an Audi electric car will accelerate from a standstill to 100 km / h in just 3.6 seconds, but will be able to drive more than 400 km on a full charge. The Auto 2021 will also be able to view the e-tron from the electric Audi, while Moller Auto hopes to recall the Q4 e-tron for the duration of the show. From the Audi range of internal combustion engines, the Audi Q5 Sportback area will be on display at the Kipsala exhibition.

Volkswagen will also be widely represented at the exhibition – both models of its new electric car family “ID.3” hatchback and “ID.4” SUV will be on display. The exhibition will also feature the sporty Arteon Shooting Brake, the Tiguan, T-Roc, T-Cross, as well as the popular Passat and Golf Variant.

The exposition of the competition “What Car? Winners of various nominations for Car of the Year 2021 include the Volvo XC40 family SUV, the Kia Sorento SUV, the Porsche Taycan Sport, the Citroen C5 Aircross, the BMW BMW and others.

Among the latest models of light commercial vehicles, the new Fiat Ducato, which has recently entered the Latvian market, as well as the VW brand models Caddy and Crafter will be on display at Auto 2021.

Campers, quad bikes, motorcycles and even scooters

At the three-day exhibition, you will be able to see comfortable and travel-friendly campers from the Estonian company “Motorhome.ee” – there will be current models of “Frankia”, “McLouis”, “Roller Team”. Roof tents and bicycle riders will be offered by Weekamper, and quad bikes by CF Moto. Those interested in “Auto 2021” will also be able to see various brands of electric scooters, electric small cars and motorcycles.

Exclusive models

The special luxury car will be taken care of by the car restoration and reconstruction company “Lucky Thirteen”, in addition, the new Mercedes-AMG G63, rebuilt with carbon fiber elements, as well as the sporty hatchback “BMW M2” will be on display in this exposition. Lucky Thirteen will also present a rebuilt motorcycle and refurbished Mercedes-Benz CL600 AMG and Mercedes-Benz S600L.

From tires to professional equipment services

In the section “Auto Mechanics” you will be able to get acquainted with the most current offer of the industry – car wrapping services, tires, discs, car maintenance products, equipment and machinery for professionals, car shops, car washes, services, anti-rust products and goods for every motorist. Well-known companies such as 3M Latvija, HCT Automotive, Krown, Signeda, Baltyre, Baltic Anti Rust Association, Baltic Diagnostic, Mecdiesel, Profiks will present their news at the exhibition. Sekurit Glass, ADS Security and others.

At the Neste Latvija exposition, you will be able to get acquainted with the self-service store “Neste Easy Deli” and the “Neste” mobile application for both individuals and companies.

Tuned vehicles

In turn, in the tuning show “Auto Exotica” there will be an opportunity to see tuned, rebuilt and retro cars, unique hotrods and louriders. Also this year, the local car enthusiast community “CC Nation”, which is especially popular on social networks, will be widely represented in the exposition. The Latvian Antique Car Club also promises to exhibit current news, as well as foreign tuning representatives with unprecedented vehicles will arrive in Ķīpsala.

“Auto 2021” will take place in green and family mode!

Please note that the green regime will operate at the exhibition on September 24. For the purposes of epidemiological safety regulations, green means an environment in which only persons who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 or who have become ill during the last six months are present. On the first day of the exhibition, neither the participants nor the visitors have to wear face masks.

On weekends – September 25 and 26 – there will be Family Days in the exhibition, when children up to 12 years of age without a certificate will be able to visit “Auto 2021” together with vaccinated or ill parents. On the other hand, children aged 12 to 18 who do not have an interoperable certificate will also be able to go to the exhibition with a negative Covid-19 testing certificate. On these days of the exhibition, everyone must wear face masks, except for children under 7 years of age.

A valid EU interoperable digital Covid-19 certificate and ID will be required at the entrance to the Exhibition Center.
