Fiat has introduced a light modernization of the 500X and Tipo models for European markets, where the news should soon appear in the offer. At the same time, in addition to light design modifications, both models also offer menu modifications across equipment levels.
First of all, let’s take a look at the modernized 500X crossover, which at first glance is particularly interesting for the modified mask, where the Fiat logo replaced the simple 500 inscription.
The basic equipment of the Club will offer customers 16 “alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control or a 7-inch infotainment display. Higher equipment levels Cross and Sport can then get a new Dolcevita modification, ie a canvas sliding roof.

The Tipo model family for 2022 will offer up to four trim levels (depending on the market), which are Tipo, City Life, City Cross and Cross. From the basic version of the Tipo, the equipment will offer, for example, adaptive cruise control, heated mirrors, 7 “infotainment or new 16” alloy wheels.
The higher City Life equipment will add Full LED front and rear headlights, a 7 “digital instrument panel, fog lights, a driver’s seat with an electrically adjustable lumbar support or 17” alloy wheels. Tipo Cross offers customers an adventurous exterior thanks to protective plastics around the bumpers, sills or wheel rims, while silver longitudinal carriers shine on the roof.
A long-awaited novelty is the new Tipo Cross station wagon, which will offer a suitcase increased by 110 liters – ie to the resulting 550 liters. The station wagon’s equipment then remains similar to that of the hatchback, including a specific mask, protective plastics, body-colored mirrors, 17 “alloy wheels and Full LED headlights at the front and rear.

Along with the modernization of the two models, the carmaker also boasted extended cooperation with the organization (RED), which has been fighting various pandemics and epidemics for 15 years, thanks to which all cars of the brand can now be ordered in special equipment (RED).
All Fiat (RED) models then offer, for example, an air conditioning system with an extremely powerful cabin filter, surfaces exposed to high contact (eg steering wheel and seats) have received a biocidal surface treatment and there is also a special welcome kit. In addition, the Model 500 (RED) has a compartment with a UV-C lamp, which should quickly remove viruses and bacteria from various surfaces, and all models are decorated with the RED logo on the post.
