At the center of the eight-series criminal drama “Marcus” is teacher Polina (played by Yevgeny Rozanova), whose life has been a terrible tragedy. Five years ago, her little son Marks (Aleksandrs Neikens from Riga) disappeared directly from kindergarten. Now in a TV scene from Riga, she accidentally notices her son, who is now called Marcus. Despite the inaction of the responsible authorities, Polina resumes her search for her son, this time with the help of former intelligence agency employee Denis Denisov (Kirill Rubcov). Investigating the boy’s disappearance, they discover the activities of a criminal group, and their roads lead to Riga, where Marcus lives with his foster parents – Lydia (Agnese Cīrule) and Rihards (Rihards Lepers).
Will Marcus recognize his biological mother? Does a boy have little chance of being happy if he is loved and wanted to be kept by two families? And how dangerous will the woven scheme of criminals turn out to be?

Family – these are the people for whom I can fight to the last, live and die, love and enjoy, and respect. For the family, I will fight to the last. Of course, all families have both happy and sad moments. But the key to success is only together to overcome those sad ones. I speak from my own experience. I know that things happen differently in life and people go through different problems, and often, those who overcome difficulties and who may even go harder – they achieve much more in life. The question is how do you overcome the difficulties. Every difficulty only makes you stronger, ”says the actor.
The original drama of the screenplay is Helio Media together with Ukraine’s leading television channel Ukraine. The author of the idea of the series is Igor Volkov, the authors of the script are Lera Kolegayeva and Vladimir Skiba, the director is Anton Azarov.
