US soldiers found dead in Burgas

An American soldier was found dead in his lodgings in Burgas this afternoon. The 56-year-old man’s body was discovered around 4:30 pm by neighbors who broke down the door, “24 Hours” learned. Police confirmed the incident but declined to give details.

The apartment where the American’s body was found is located in a luxury apartment complex near the Sea Garden. The front door was bolted from the inside.

No traces of violence were found on the body, and so far the main version is that the foreigner died of natural causes, most likely a heart attack. He was overweight.

The serviceman worked at the test site in Novo Selo and his official position was a postman, people who know him have revealed.
