The book is almost ready – both poems and illustrations have been created, so now she will meet with an artist who will help to create the layout of the author’s work.

Also, the popular poetess will reveal to her fans that neither Burka nor Šutoviene’s surname will adorn the book cover. She has chosen a pseudonym that is especially close to her and also symbolic. This is because Magone is convinced that the former surname Burka has already become a kind of fire in society and “it would definitely be the last thing she would put on her works”, so the upcoming book will be decorated with a specially chosen and carefully justified name.

“Magone Liedeskalns – I will put such a pseudonym. The poppy remains as a symbol, like my real name, with such a meaning as a symbol, ”the poet will explain her choice, adding that the fact is important to her, although in other languages the word is good-sounding.

“Liedeskalns is the name of a place in Jaungulbene, which is a historical, ancient place on the banks of the Liedes River. A place of worship, I would even say. This is my homeland. If I wasn’t destined to stay there and fate took me away, this will be the little point of gratitude I will leave in my family’s history, ”says Magone.
