Around 34 thousand beneficiaries who have a Metro card with a differentiated rate, which allows paying 3 pesos instead of 5, can enter for free until further notice, the Collective Transportation System (STC) reported.
The only requirement to obtain free access is that they must show their expired differential rate card and current identification to the police in turnstiles.
Students must show their differentiated card and current student credential. While female heads of household and unemployed people would benefit the expired differential rate card and an official identification.
The STC informed that in the next few days it will announce the calendar to carry out the card renewal process. But he spread that the requirements for students will be to present the expired card, original proof of studies with school seal and CURP.
For the mothers who are heads of family beneficiaries, the previous card, CURP and proof of current studies of the economic dependent, whose age is 6 to 23 years old.
And for unemployed people, previous card, CURP and leave issued by a social security institution or other document that recently proves the loss of employment.
