The assessment centers on Google’s recent advancements with the pixel 10,which has already surpassed key Android competitors in several areas.
The Pixel 10 introduced a telephoto sensor and a battery exceeding the capacity of the galaxy S25 Plus.Coupled with functional Gemini-powered features, the Pixel 10 established a competitive advantage. The analysis suggests Google can maintain this lead with incremental improvements in the Pixel 11, rather than a complete overhaul.
“The Pixel 11 is playing with house money, and it just needs minor tweaks to stay ahead,” the report states.
Compared to anticipated Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro features, the Pixel 11 is expected to offer a 600mAh larger battery, faster charging – including Qi2 wireless charging compatibility without a case - and the preferred Pixel UI over Samsung’s One UI. Enhanced AI capabilities,such as Pixel studio and Help Me Edit,further solidify Google’s position.
While advocating for evolutionary upgrades to the base Pixel 11 and Pro models, the analysis emphasizes the need for significant investment in the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.Following a considerable improvement from the original Pixel Fold to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the most recent upgrade was considered incremental. the report recommends focusing advancement efforts on the Fold, specifically improving camera capabilities, reducing its size, and increasing charging speed.
“If it does, I don’t see how the Pixel 11 series doesn’t sweep our 2026 editor’s choice awards,” the analysis concludes. The Pixel 11 is expected to feature the Tensor G6 processor and updated AI models.
