One mandate for the Latvian Russian Union could have cost around 28,300 euros, while for the combined list of the associations “For All Latvia” – “Fatherland and Freedom” / LNNK and the Association of Latvian Regions (NA / LRA) – about 16,960 euros.

Obtaining the mandate of one deputy of the Riga City Council could have cost the party “Jaunā Vienotība” about 13,090 euros, but for the party “Sadarba” – 9260 euros.

“For Development / About!” and for the joint list of the party “Progressive”, obtaining the mandate of one council member could have cost about 7540 euros.

Data provided by the KNAB at the beginning of the week showed that the parties had planned to spend 1.27 million euros on the pre-election campaign.

By August 24, the largest commitment of the parties that had entered the Riga City Council – 166,256 euros – had been declared “Honor to serve Riga”, followed by the JKP with 157,452 euros.

This was followed by the HR / VP with 135,789 euros in pre-election commitments, “New Unity” – 130,904 euros, the association “All for Latvia” – “For the Fatherland and Freedom” / LNNK / the Association of Latvian Regions – 118,766 euros. The Russian Union of Latvia had declared 113,212 euros in pre-election spending financial commitments, “Sobeža” – 111,125 euros.

Meanwhile, the largest campaign expenses – 166,256 euros in financial liabilities – had been presented by the party “KPV LV”, which will not have won a seat in the Riga City Council in these elections. Of the parties that did not enter the City Council, the Union of Greens and Farmers had shown a liability of 113,970 euros, but “Alternative” – 59,044 euros.
