In Dordrecht, the police arrested two girls aged 15 and 17 from Zwijndrecht because they threatened a woman with a firearm. The two would have demanded money from the 56-year-old resident of Dordrecht this afternoon in the city center.
The victim was addressed in the late afternoon by the two, who pointed the weapon at her and demanded money. According to the police, the woman made it clear that she was not carrying any money. The two young perpetrators then ran away. The victim was so shocked, reports the police, that she could not immediately raise the alarm. Bystanders came to her aid.
The pair were later tracked down by the police and arrested by officers with drawn weapons. It is still being investigated whether the weapon they were carrying is real or whether it is a fake one.
