The attempt did not go without a small incident. Although in all previous attempts in Latvia everything went smoothly, at the end of this performance the pants of the band’s guitarist Krišjānis Ozols did not break, similarly to the semifinals of “Supernova”. As the group manager Jānis Kļaviņš reported: “The situation is being addressed urgently and this problem will be fixed until the next attempt.”
“The rehearsal was good, we did our best, it is clear that some episodes still need to be honed both technically and in terms of content. We were not worried, we can definitely thank all the warm-up events before the competition, in which we took part, ”concluded the group’s soloist Jānis Pētersons.
“The organizers had set a fairly high bar in technical innovations, but after the attempt it is clear that some of these things were not resolved, so we are forced to significantly change the light direction, frame plans, as well as change the original idea of our performance,” said the television director. Juris Matuzelis.
The band’s saxophonist and soloist Dagnis Roziņš added: “We are satisfied with our performance and we will do our best to make our song sound in the grand finale as well. There is a lot of interest in us here, the interviews take place almost every free minute and the audience seems to appreciate us. ”
