The government’s corona dashboard reports 457 new corona virus infections on Sunday. That is 51 fewer than the day before, when the number was 508.
81 new infections have been identified in the Amsterdam-Amstelland region, 65 new cases in Rotterdam-Rijnmond. 39 new cases have been registered in the Haaglanden region, 32 in the Utrecht region and 33 in Central and West Brabant.
The number of corona patients in the intensive-care units of the hospitals on Sunday has remained the same as the number of the day before: 42. On Friday it was still 43 patients.
There are 565 people with complaints other than corona on the ICs, 26 fewer than Saturday. The total IC occupancy is 607 on Sunday. The number of Covid admissions outside the IC is 129 on Sunday – two less than the day before.
The figures have been published by the National Coordination Center for Patient Distribution (LCPS).
Chairman Ernst Kuipers of the National Acute Care Network: “The number of admitted Covid patients has remained virtually stable this week. The hospitals are currently able to cope well with the care for Covid and other patients. All this is in combination with the leveling off in the number of patients. new infections are a reassuring signal, once again if we manage to maintain this situation. “
