Kazaks has expressed his creative competencies in creating and performing music, creating and directing television programs, and creating texts. Kazaks has a master’s degree in engineering from Riga Technical University.
The director of the Latvian Radio 5 program has been selected through an open competition. The current director of the station’s program, Ilva Milzarāja, resigned at her own request in September this year.
