The deputy minister was asked at a briefing in Warsaw, including for the results of the survey, which shows that 37 percent Poles would benefit from the COVID-19 vaccine if it was available. The survey was conducted by ARC Rynek i Opinia from 2 to 9 June 2020. 28 percent respondents declared that they would not use the vaccine, and 34% had no opinion.
– At the moment – when it comes to the coronavirus vaccine – we can say, as in the case of other vaccinations, that all that are authorized by the resort have confirmed medical value – said Cieszyński.
When asked if there are plans for compulsory vaccinations for COVID-19, the deputy minister said that “there is no such plan at the moment to make it mandatory vaccination”.
– All decisions are made when a vaccine is available and all information is available. Then you can make a decision 100% honestly. There are no such plans at the moment – he added.
On Wednesday morning, the Ministry of Health informed about 382 new coronavirus infections in Poland.
