The club’s website also confirms that the team’s Thursday away game in Magnitogorsk has been canceled, and Saturday’s game in Yaroslavl with “Lokomotiv” has been postponed to November 19.
“Recent coronavirus tests performed by quarantined team members have found positive results,” the club’s press service said.
Seven new cases of infection have been detected in quarantine coronavirus tests on Sunday and Monday, according to the club’s website. “The quarantine for team members with negative test results ends at the end of this week, after which they will be able to join the co-training,” the club explains.
The next Jokerit game is scheduled for Monday at their home against Chelyabinsk’s Traktor.
The Jokerit team has had Covid-19 on several occasions this season.
