BOLA – SAD reacts to the court decision (Belenenses SAD)

Belenenses SAD reacted, late this Saturday afternoon, to the sentence issued by the club. The court decision confirms the sale of the share in the share capital that the emblem led by Patrick Morais de Carvalho had in that blue society, thus definitively separating the two entities.

In a short note, the administration led by Rui Pedro Soares revealed that it will file an appeal.

“The ruling that decided that Belenenses SAD can continue to use the company name it has had since its incorporation was not affected by the decision released today in another of the various pending processes. The ruling of a first instance court known today contradicts a decades-old consensus in Portuguese football and contradicts previous decisions by other courts. Naturally, the competent appeal will be filed. Tomorrow, Belenenses SAD will have an important game with Santa Clara SAD and is committed and confident in providing joy to its fans», it reads.
