Beaches in Solana Beach, Del Mar and Carlsbad reopen for exercise – Telemundo 52

SAN DIEGO- The northern coastal towns of the county reopened with restrictions on Monday: Solana Beach, Del Mar, Torrey Pines and Carlsbad.

Running, walking, surfing, kayaking and paddleboarding will be allowed on the beach. Gatherings on the beach or parking lots are still prohibited, as well as lying down to sunbathe or watch the waves.

Carlsbad city parks and trails will also reopen at 2 p.m. to walk, run and sit on the grass, although meetings with people who do not live in your house are still prohibited. Parking lots and parks will be monitored and will only be maintained at 50% capacity.

The Lake Poway Recreation Area opened to the public on Sunday and returned to its regular 6 a.m. Until the sunset.

Parking lots will remain at half capacity and recreational boats are not allowed. All playgrounds are closed and sports are allowed only for people who live under the same roof.
