Actor Hristo Shopov was brought to court on Saturday with handcuffed hands to decide whether he should remain in custody. He was arrested Friday and charged with threatening to kill his neighbor, Patricia Teeves. Shopov pointed a gun at her face during an argument.
The citizen of Luxembourg wanted to compromise the son of Hristo Shopov – Naum in front of Nova TV. This was explained in her pleading by lawyer Ina Lulcheva, who represented the star of Bulgarian cinema.
This was heard in two clips that Patricia filmed while arguing with Hristo Shopov’s wife.
The scandal was caused by car cleaners.
The clips did not show Shopov carrying a weapon. In the second clip, Shopov can be heard saying in English “I will kill you”.
For two minutes she shouted “this is Hristo Shopov and his crazy wife”. She also shouted that she would send the clip to Nova TV so that the father of the actor Naum Shopov could see it.
“The woman experienced a well-founded fear of the threat,” announced the Sofia District Prosecutor’s Office, which on Friday afternoon, after the 24-hour police detention, placed the actor under arrest.
