Sony announced this evening that it is now available in our market a new, slimmer version of the PlayStation 5 console. Last week it went on sale in Great Britain, Germany, Poland or Italy.
There are again two editions to choose from – disc and digitalto which it is possible to purchase a pluggable Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc drive.
The new PS5 model is equipped with a 1 TB SSD (instead of 825 GB). Otherwise, it has the same technical specifications as the original version.

The slimmer PS5, nicknamed Slim, has gradually replace the old models. Sony says the console is more than 30% smaller and 18% slimmer and 24% slimmer for the digital edition without an optical Blu-ray drive.
The price of the slimmer PlayStation 5 is the same as the original model before the discount, ie 13,590 CZK for the model with Blu-ray drive and 11,190 CZK for the Digital Edition. You can buy, for example, at CZC.cz. The vertical stand, which is not part of the package, is sold for 699 CZK.
