A.Saudi.- The Arab League insists that Saudi Arabia is the only competent authority on the murder of Hashogi

The Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, has reiterated his support for Saudi Arabia after the country’s crown prince, Mohamed bin Salman, was implicated by the United States in the murder of journalist and dissident Yamal Jashogi.
In a statement issued late on Saturday, the Secretary General “conveys his support for the statement issued by the Chancellery of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” in which he repudiates any involvement of the heir.
Likewise, the Arab League points out that the Judicial Power of the Kingdom is “the only competent authority with respect to the case of the Saudi citizen Yamal Jashogi”, according to the note collected by the official Saudi news agency SPA.
In the report, the United States assures that Bin Salmán approved the operation for “the capture or murder of journalist Yamal Jashogi” during his visit to the Consulate of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul (Turkey), in October 2018.
The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has responded to this accusatory investigation by completely rejecting its content, as it is a “negative, false and unacceptable assessment” that contains “inaccurate information and conclusions”.
The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Kuwait have also expressed in recent hours their rejection of the report of the United States Intelligence services that directly implicates the prince.
