A man was arrested after confessing that he killed his wife and three children in a house in the heart of The Walt Disney | El Salvador News

The case has moved an entire city. The authorities still do not give details of how this family, including a child under four, were killed by this father who apparently presented economic difficulties.

The family resided in Celebration, a small town of The Walt Disney Company adjacent to Orlando theme parks, in central Florida. According to the investigations, the family of five had been evicted from the place for lack of payment.

Relatives and neighbors had reported not seeing Megan and her children for several days. The Osceola County Sheriff’s office confirmed Tuesday the discovery of the bodies, in addition to Tony’s arrest, occurred Monday.

The forensic examination determined the cause of death as homicide. The authorities have not given details of the way they died or the part of the house where the bodies were found. Tony Todt confessed the four crimes plus the murder of his dog, police said.

On December 29, federal agents responded to the call of a relative of the detainee who had been told that the whole family was with the flu, but had two days without hearing from them. Although agents say they conducted an exhaustive investigation they found nothing abnormal, it was until January 9 that federal agents contacted the local police to request reinforcements in the investigation.

The couple also appears as the owner since 2005 of a condominium in Kissimmee, in central Florida.
Osceola County Sheriff Russ Gibson told reporters that all parties involved in the investigation were identified, without offering further details.
