Lille’s search for a new goalkeeper continues after the departure of starting lineup Mike Maignan to Milan. With Benfica’s Vlachodimos as the main objective, French officials are looking for other alternatives.
According to the Sky Sport Italy, Lille approached Atlético Madrid with an interest in Ivo Grbic. The French champions have proposed a one-season loan with an option to buy the 25-year-old Croatia goalkeeper, an offer being analyzed by the mattresses.
A Hajduk Split graduate, Ivo Grbic signed for Atlético Madrid in 2020 after a spell at Lokomotiva. Jan Oblak’s usual substitute, has only one game for the Spanish team.
