Jane O’Toole, captain of the Saint Mirren women’s team in pod, experienced a nightmarish match against Iverness. Not only did his team bow heavily (7-0), but the Scot also suffered a horrible injury.
After a contact, the Saint Mirren player lost her kneecap. Despite the visibly unbearable pain, O’Toole first put the bone back in place and, after a few minutes of rest, she ended the meeting!

After the match, Saint Mirren praised the merits of his player. Our captain is a tough guy. Look how she reacted after having dislocated her kneecap in our recent match against Iverness … We can’t put this woman down. She got up and played 90 minutes, welcomed the Saint Mirren WFC on Twitter.
