As the coronavirus spreads like wildfire in Bilorussia, life goes on as if nothing had happened. start with professional sport. Thus, the local football championship is the only one in Europe not to have been suspended and the matches are not even the subject of a closed session.
However, and unlike President Alexander Lukashenko, who described the epidemic as psychosis, part of the population is concerned about the situation and the meetings are far from being sold out. The Dinamo Brest club (D1) has found a solution, to say the least, to allow its supporters to experience the matches from the stands: replace them with models.
During the cup match against Shakhtyor Soligorsk on Wednesday, the leaders of Dinamo Brest offered fans from around the world the possibility of buying a virtual ticket, for almost 25 euros. Their faces were then printed and pasted on mannequins placed in the lateral gallery.
Our fans from all over the world seem to be happy! Thanks for your support, guys! ? pic.twitter.com/wX4dCLDtUH FC Dynamo Brest (@dynamobrest) April 8, 2020
The funds raised will be donated to the fight against the coronavirus. Other virtual tickets were put on sale for the next reception of the Bleu et Blancs, this Sunday opposite Isloch.
