“A sense of parallel reality, because I was on a completely different side of the world, in different circumstances, in a different society,” explains Kārlis. He has spent more than two years traveling. Rowing boat crossed the Pacific Ocean from South America to Asia. Using only his muscular strength, Kārlis has won 26,000 kilometers.
He points out that he is the first in the world to take such a route.
Karl’s achievement has also been recognized by the International Association of Ocean Rowers.
“When I was in the ocean, I knew there was a house, that I would get there sometime, that I would meet loved ones there. But it feels the same now, because I know there’s that ocean somewhere. I will always have a special connection with the ocean, ”says the world traveler.
This trip was part of a much bigger plan. Kārlis intends to return to Asia again to continue his journey around the world, moving only with his muscular strength.
