Never before have they performed Ozola’s songs on the stage “Carnival Youth” and vice versa, throwing challenges to each other and to themselves.
The event will take place in four decisive rounds, where after each of them, it will be the spectators who, with the help of applause, will determine which song performed better.
Ozola and “Carnival Youth” will have to prove themselves by performing a popular song in their style in the first round, representing their genre. In the second round, the artists will perform each other’s compositions, taking over the original performance in their arrangement in the middle of the song. In the third round, the artists will surprise the audience with three of their songs performed by different genres. Finally, in the fourth round, they will be joined by guest artists on both stages, who will be kept secret by the artists until the performance.
In each round, the winners will be determined by the fans in the middle of the stages, cheering and applauding as loudly as they can, but this year the supporters will also be joined by a live audience vote.
This type of musical concept originated about 70 years ago in Jamaica, and Red Bull SoundClash events have been taking place around the world since 2006. In four challenging rounds, the artists demonstrate their improvisation and live performance skills.
The event will take place on December 4.
