“The song” Peace “is a reflection that does not leave me either in these times or in times of peace. No matter what pace and situation we live in, there will always be something we want to relax from. Although we originally wrote the song with the band and DJ Monsts for the album as a solo piece, it is a great pleasure that rapper Edavārds also contributed to it. The collaboration with him started by accident when we called “Facetime” after Christmas – we sang “Red Hot Chili Peppers” songs with each other, talked about future plans in music, as a result we decided that he would include an article for my album and I would sing a song for him! ” said Ralph Eilands.
The idea for music videos came about by chance. “Once, director Mārtiņš Jurevics had told me that there would be a music video for my songs, where someone would dance. In response to the fact that I wanted to publish a new piece to which this idea would suit, we met and decided unequivocally that the dancer should be Girt Kester. It occurred to me that I had climbed with Ģirts after an event on the roof of the Daile Theater, so I was even more convinced that Ģirts would be the right person for such a role as a non-standard bus pilot dancer! ” continues Ralph.
As you know, one of the most outstanding videos of all time is the musician Fatboy Slim’s song “Weapon of Choice”. Hollywood veteran Christopher Volken played the lead role. Can we compare who gets better then – Christopher or the local Girt?
