[Washington, 5th Reuters]–The US Senate passed a budget resolution on the 5th to realize the $ 1.9 trillion new coronavirus rescue bill launched by President Biden. This will allow the ruling Democratic Party of Japan to pass the bailout bill alone.

The vote, which took place after about 15 hours of deliberation, was 50 in favor and 50 against, but was passed by Vice President Harris, who chairs the Senate, with a vote in favor.

Senate Democratic Party leader Chuck Schumer said passing a budget resolution was a “big first step” towards passing a comprehensive bailout bill, which President Biden has made top priority.
