As part of the National Project “Comfortable School”, it is planned to build 21 schools with 22 thousand student places. At the same time, this year 63 schools underwent modernization, major renovations were completed in 80 schools, and 225 modern subject rooms for physics, chemistry, biology, and STEM were installed in 95 schools.

– “The national project “Comfortable School” is primarily aimed at building schools of a new format in cities and promising settlements, creating comfortable and safe conditions for students and teachers, and improving the quality of educational services. This year, the country begins construction of 217 schools with commissioning until 2024. Modern schools will be built to replace emergency and three-shift schools, noted Edil Ospan.

The Vice Minister of Education focused special attention on issues of protecting children’s rights. He recalled that throughout the year the ministry carried out continuous comprehensive work to maximally equip educational organizations with security systems: CCTV cameras, turnstiles, panic buttons, specialized security. In addition, a Comprehensive Plan to protect children from violence, prevent suicide, and ensure their rights and well-being for 2023-2025 was developed and adopted. To increase the role of parents in the life of the school and children, as well as to create a favorable microclimate in schools, a “Unified Education Program” has been developed, which has been implemented in all organizations of the country since September of this year.

At the meeting, residents were able to ask their questions in an open format. In particular, their questions related to preschool, secondary, technical and vocational, additional, and inclusive education. Edil Ospan gave detailed answers to all requests. Also during the visit, a personal reception of citizens was held, where individual responses were given to each appeal, and appropriate instructions were given to structural units.
