Now that the ferry to Governors Island will operate throughout the year, it will be easier to enjoy the winter village (Winter Village, in English) that has been installed there.

Service ferry for the winter months began this Monday. This will allow visitors to take advantage of all that the Winter Village has to offer, including ice skating, games, many dining options and an outdoor fire pit.
This is the first year the event has been held.

The Winter Village will be open until next month. The 5,000-square-foot skating rink will operate Friday through Sunday until 5 p.m.
Admission is $11 but it’s free on Fridays. And for those who rent skates, the cost is $8 dollars.
