The Mystery of Griotka Revealed: Mário’s Narrow Escape and Vilma’s Drunken Escapades

The mystery surrounding the bottle of griotka is revealed and Mário narrowly escapes Lumir’s wrath. While everything goes well with the Nykls, Karla and Kryštof sound the alarm. Little Vojta is going out into the world and his parents are understandably crazy about it. They search all over town for him, but eventually someone else discovers him.

Mário catches the drunken Vilma

Waking up to a new day with a monkey is rough and unpleasant, and Vilma Nyklová, who used to pride herself on being able to drink, knows this first hand. Well, yes, but if a person doesn’t eat anything, doesn’t move, just lies down and takes pills, then it’s no wonder that his body doesn’t serve him as he should. Madame “Griotka” feels that she is in her last campaign, but he refuses to reveal his secret source to his son. That’s not done.

Lumir thinks he knows where the wind is blowing from, and therefore scolds Mário for his mother’s condition. Who else would be so irresponsible and stupid as to sneak alcohol into her room? It could have killed her! The unsuspecting poor Mário defends himself by saying that he brought Vilma just a harmless soup from Martina, nothing more. Lexík is present at their argument, whose remorse and fear for his grandmother make him confess his color. Suddenly, everything is clear and Lumir has a lot to do to assure the boy that his grandmother will definitely not die because of a drunken griot.

When Kateřina later learns how it all actually happened, she reprimands Vilma without hesitation. That they are not ashamed to use the little boy for their own purposes, after all, they would somehow come to a reasonable agreement with each other. Well, of course, Nyklová objects bitterly, but in the end he apologizes to her and to Lumir. He admits that it was a mistake to involve Lexík in his mischief. But at least for once she was well again and could do what she wanted. Lumir understands that it is already long for her in bed and with all the annoying care, However, Vilma adds that she appreciates their help.

Vojta’s parents instruct him to always have a fully charged mobile phone and to have it available at all times. However, he cannot be reached on Thursday. He should have been home from school by now, but he is nowhere to be found. What now?
Monika wants to talk to Mára, but she calls him at an inopportune moment – just as he is driving around the city looking for his lost son. Monika immediately offers to help him in his search, and he gratefully sends her around various playgrounds and candy shops. Meanwhile, Karel is also chasing the boy after all the devils, but in the end it is Monika who discovers him, namely in a department store where the boy is enjoying an ice cream sundae.

So Vojta just goes on a trip to find sweet loot without informing anyone? Of course, she will get a good lecture, especially from mom, and Monika will use the opportunity to talk to Kryštof in the meantime. She invites him to her house, which of course Karla doesn’t miss, and there they finally clear up some differences. Monika tells Már about her last relationship and the reasons why infidelity seems to her a petty excuse for divorce. She overcame it herself and her boyfriend, but then something much more serious separated them. In return, Kryštof confides in her about his feelings. He really tried to save his marriage with Karla, but unfortunately it’s probably not possible.
