Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro made their debut at a launch event in Berlin, Germany on Wednesday, September 26 2023.
Unfortunately, the Chinese company only brought the Xiaomi 13T without including the Pro variant to Indonesia.
In one of the interview sessions with the Liputan6.com team, Panji Pratama, Corporate & Media Relations Lead at Xiaomi Technology revealed the reason why the Xiaomi 13T Pro was absent in Indonesia.
“Both the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro have different characteristics and price ranges offered. Both models create different functionality and experiences,” he said.
What is the price of the Xiaomi 13T in Indonesia? Xiaomi said that this new cellphone will be sold with a tag of IDR 6.5 million starting October 6 2023.
The company only provides one variant of the Xiaomi 13T in Indonesia, namely with 12GB RAM and 256GB memory capacity.
Xiaomi 13T specifications include a Leica technology camera with a 50MP wide angle main camera, 2x 50MP telephoto, 12MP ultrawide and a 20MP lens for selfies.
The company explained that the collaboration with Leica in this series was more limited to sticking the famous photographic label on the cellphone body.
On this new Xiaomi cellphone, users will find two typical Lieca modes, namely Leica Vibrant and Leica Authentic.
Since collaborating with Leica two years ago, Xiaomi’s Android cellphone line has been predicted to appear with high-class camera or photography capabilities.
Now, the company wants to bring this flagship photographic experience to their mid-range smartphone line.
