According to the foreign publication of GamePressure, which refers to its anonymous sources, the Polish studio CD Projekt RED is already working on The Witcher 4 and decided on the concept of the future game.
If you believe the source, then the main character of the new project will be Ciri, and her adventures will unfold before the events of the third part, which means The Witcher 4 will be a prequel. It is believed that the Poles will tell more about the life of Tsiri without a witcher and her relationship with the elf sorcerer Avalak’kh.
According to the source, in CD Projekt RED they were looking for a new strong protagonist of the new part to replace Geralt and decided to choose Ciri, especially since she already had to play The Witcher 3 for her.
Recall that the well-known Polish studio has not yet officially announced the start of work on a new game, but a couple of times its representatives announced their desire to release a sequel.
